A decade ago a black WALNUT tree fell on my grandfather’s farm in southeast Kansas. During a trip there to visit, I cut the tree, otherwise left to wither away, into numerous slabs and drove them back to Colorado. Those slabs, one by one, began the evolution of my woodworking skills, designs, and passion, thus I was Forged IN Walnut.
What started as cutting boards, boxes, pens, and other small pieces developed into nightstands, bench’s, tables, cabinets and other custom furniture built to last.
Forged IN Walnut is rooted in detail oriented deigns and ethical business practices so that the customer gets more than a piece of furniture, they get an experience and a piece of art to last decades.
